Jeff has been practicing employment law and consumer law for more than twenty years and is a founding member of Connor & Morneau. Jeff is dedicated to assisting employees and consumers protect and defend their rights through individual and class action litigation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies and, when appropriate, through negotiation, mediation, or settlement.
Jeff is widely recognized as one of the best class action and collective action lawyers in Massachusetts and is frequently referred cases by other lawyers or asked to co-counsel’s with them on the most challenging and high stakes cases. He has successfully litigated, mediated, and settled hundreds of high profile cases against some of the largest corporations and law firms in the country. He has helped to recover tens of million of dollars for workers and consumers who have been the victims of wage theft, discrimination and unfair or deceptive conduct by employers and businesses
Jeff is a very active member of the bar association and the employment law bar. He is a former President of the Hampden County Bar Association and is currently a member of the HCBA’s Employment Law Section, Massachusetts Bar Association, National Employment Lawyer’s Association (“NELA”) and the Massachusetts Employment Lawyer’s Association (“MELA”).
Jeff has consistently been recognized as “Super Lawyer” in Massachusetts, a recognition given to no more than five percent of lawyers in each state and was awarded the John M. Greaney award in 2017 and recognized as an outstanding citizen of the law community.
A few other facts about Jeff – he was inducted into the Providence College Athletic Hall of Fame for tennis; was ranked number one in the country in platform tennis; taught Employment Law, Sports Law, and Business Law at Holyoke Community College; was President of the Hampden County Bar Association, and coaches the East Longmeadow High School Boys Tennis team. While not practicing law, Jeff enjoys spending time riding is road bike; playing competitive golf, tennis, and platform tennis; and watching his kids participate in sports.
